Does replacing the charging port require soldering? If it does, where can I get soldering tools?

Yes. You will probably need a micro-soldering iron. Check with an electronics store. You probably need a good amount of experience in soldering as well.

You should probably purchase a new motherboard since it is soldered on. It's pretty simple to replace
