Display dont shut down after TouchScreen Replacement

Hello, i replaced the Touchscreen of my broken iPad mini White. Now the iPad dont shut down with my Smartcover. I tested the Smartcover an another iPad mini and it works, but dont work with iPad mini New Touchscreen.

What is wrong?

With a second Touchscreen the Same :-(.

I hope you cant help me.

Make sure in settings the option is enabled

The smartcover function relies on a couple of SMD components that are on the home flex. Unfortunately, many of the third party supposedly "OEM" whatever that means do not have these components on their home flexes.

You'll need to buy a digitizer assembly that has an original quality home flex, or desolder and switch out your aftermarket home flex with one that is original quality.

Also remember to transfer the magnets from your original screen---these aren't required for smart cover function, but they do help hold the thing up when vertical.

Hi,

I also answered this one through Facebook. I want to know if the ifixit aftermarket digitizer screen contains the original (or working) home flex. I want to order one to replace my broken screen.
