I have a droid razr that no longer goes past the "red eye" startup screen. I got a new phone, but would like to get my contacts and pictures off the old phone (I didn't realize they weren't on the external SD card). How do I remove the internal memory so I can do this?

Peter you describe things as external and internal SD card. Just to clarify, you removed your SD card and the files you were looking for (contacts etc. are not on there). There really is no internal SD card. The RAZR uses a 16GB EMMC Flash Memory IC. You can not access that memory by simple means. You can either try and fix your RAZR so you can access the files needed or have a professional data recovery service do it for you. Hope this helps, good luck.
