Hi my son dropped our iPad and the screen went into lots of coloured lines we managed to get it working again by switching it on and off but now it is not working at all. The screen is black but with lots of tiny lines again sometimes white lines in the middle come up too, would this be possible to fix? Many thanks

It sounds like you may have dislocated the digitalizer cable. Try turning it on, then hit the back of the ipad firmly a few times, whilst monitoring the screens for signs of activity. I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago, and this worked for me. Failing that, take it in to a repair shop, or have a look inside yourself; it should be too difficult for a repair shop to fix if all you did was drop it.
