Where is a teardown for the Motorola Moto X 2014 (2nd Gen)?

The 2014 Moto X phone (2nd Gen) has been on the available for a few weeks.

I have been searching for a teardown, unsuccessfully.

Has anyone seen a teardown already? Any ETA?

Thanks.

+1 from me. I want this too, I hope to replace the back cover in the future.

Agreed, I'm looking to get one but want to know if the battery can be replaced when required first.

The best pictures I was able to find so far, showing what's going on under the battery cover.

It looks like the Nexus 6 is only coming in a 6 inch (5.9 inch) size, and the price will be north of $500, so the Moto X 2014 Pure Edition (with Android updates that aren't slowed down by the carriers) is looking VERY attractive. I want to see how easy it's going to be to replace the battery on Moto X 2014.

When these Lithium Ion cell phone batteries get old they tend to "pillow", get puffy in the middle. My HTC phone is suffering screen problems because the battery swelled up under the screen and damaged it. A non-replaceable battery is planned obsolescence, which only benefits the carrier and the phone manufacturer.

My girlfriends HTC One m7 had the battery puff within six months, we got warranty on that. So you should try that, here in Sweden there's a law that dictates we always get two year warranties.
