A1459 Does not show that it is charging at all. Connections seem tight and clean. Tested with various cables and chargers. Would this likely be just the battery itself, or any other possibilities?

I do not care for the way Apple numbers its batteries as it makes them look like model numbers instead of part numbers. Here’s your correct battery:
