Shattered screen black screen

so I dropped my phone.

It took a bad hit.

The screen completely shattered and is black,although the phone still works and the home button does too,the 'back' button lights up,and the light on the upper left corner lights up too,because i have a few missed calls.everything works,except the screen.

so i removed the shattered glass,and the black screen under the glass is completely ruined too. is that the lcd that is damaged?
