I was browsing through net then suddenly my touchpad stopped working. Display was clear though but touchpad was not working. Then i googled about it and came to know that i have to remove the battery and press the power button for 60seconds and then place the battery back and switch it on. But after placing the battery back, The phone is not getting switched on

What was the battery percentage before it turned off? Does your battery drain fast or have you noticed anything like this before?
There might be a chance you just need a new battery. If you have owned that phone for awhile and it is the original battery - batteries eventually just need to be replaced over time. I would test to see if that is the issue.

No the battery was like 25%, and like i said i switched it off. and then pressed power button for 60secs and then tried starting it.
