Laptop restarts/shutdown after closing lid

Hi Everyone,

I recently spilled water on the laptop which i took it to a repair up for them to take out all the hardware and dry it off with a special machine/process. Everything seems to be working fine afterwards, however when i close the lid (assuming it goes to sleep) the laptop would restart or shuts down (it makes the classic apple start up sound) after a few minutes. Then i'd have to re-enter my password and logs back into the computer with all my previous application, web pages closed.

I've read online and couldn't find too much information besides a possible power issue or resetting some features. I've tried playing around with the energy saving option and reset some items which did not help.

Really appreciate any help or tips i can get. thanks!
