Charging port is loose
My charing port on my fire is loose how do I fix it or should I send it back to amazon?? I just got this for Christmas 2015.

I would contact amazon and ask what kind of warranty there is on the fire before trying to fix it yourself .

From what I've been told by a salesperson at Radio Shack is that Amazon will fix a loose charging port.

They wont fix it, they send you a refurbished unit :/

My fire charging port is not loose, but it failed. I can't charge the device. Maybe dry solder joints according to blogs I've read?
Anyway, I told Amazon about it today. they said that "...the Kindle model you have comes with 90 days warranty period." (they really must not have much faith in their product)
They decided mine was un-returnable. But instead they gave me a $20 discount on buying a new one. (not too bad on a $50 device?)
(My next problem is that I'm travelling and they won't ship it to Australia... Amazon Australia do not stock this model.)
So for me it's fix it or don't have a tablet. Yay!
For you, I hope Amazon will replace it due to the port being loose, but if not, you might get a discount from them on a new one?
