iPad Mini Logicboard interchangable between WiFi and LTE Versions?

Hi Guys,

I have an iPad mini 32GB Wifi (first generation) with a bad logicboard. I found an new motherboard, also from an iPad Mini 32GB but it's an LTE version. Any idea if I can replace the bad logicboard with the LTE-version logicboard?

Options

Probably not, definitely not with LTE functionality. The internal components are laid out pretty the same, but the LTE has a few things the wifi doesn't (antennas, sim reader, etc.) The case for the wifi does not come with a slot built in the side for the sim, so that kills that idea
