BLU Pure XL TouchPal 2015 has stopped Working

Yesterday March 27, 2016 There was an update in my Blu Life Pure XL phone, in which it asked me if i wanted to update it. I did, unfortunately when it finished installing, a message in my phone appeared which said: Touchpal 2015 has stopped Working. I've tried many things in fixing the problem but there wasn't any luck. It also told me if i wanted to send an error report, but I can't send one since I can't use the phone's keyboard. Anyone has any idea how I can fix or forward this to the company?

Same here just now got the notification tonight to do the update, and I am !#^&@@. I had to switch to google keyboard too just to be able to use my phone. I wish I had not done the update

Update (03/30/2016)

OK guys just did some more research on this and found a thread on another page that says to go into advanced settings and then all apps, then touchpal keyboard clear data and cache. I just did this and it fixed it :)

To get to all apps you have to scroll to the ??from the right and then you can scroll down to it. Seems to have fixed the problem so far. Thanks VERY MUCH.

Actually is good to go through all tha\e apps and clean the cache. It fixed the Touch pal problem .

Same thing here.Here is what I did.Go to settings.Scroll down to Language and input..Scroll down to Touchpal 2015.Uncheck it!Done!!!

I had the same problem, starting with my update today, 3/28/16.

You have to go into Settings > Language & input, and select Google Keyboard. You'll be able to use the phone, but not have the nice TouchPal interface. I can't even find TouchPal in the Apps to uninstall and reinstall. For now, I'm stuck with Google keyboard. I hope they figure this out.

I ma having the same issue but it reverts to the message and send error report so quickly that I am unable to stay in setting long enough to do anything. HELP! This happens when I discard the message, send the message or take any other action.

Same problem. Finally, after much frustration I managed to get to the apps page and saw "Swift Keyboard". That gave me the option of disabling the standard Android keyboard and - thank heaven! - TouchPal. Which I promptly did. Now to find how to erase/uninstall it completely...

I just had the same exact thing going on w/ mine on my "brand spanking new Blu Pure XL!" I'm so thankful that I found this thread and was able to fix the problem this morning instead of spending the day in frustration trying to figure out a way to return my phone!!!! I have the same problem, I updated my phone yesterday but the problem is that I need a pssword to unlock my phone and as I can't use the keyboard, I can't unlock it. What should I do then?

One more way of correcting the above problem is there from which i resolved my issue. And i found this way just vy traversing my phone settings again again. :)

It is:

Go to settings-- language & input-- Touchpal 2015-- Help & about-- Rebuild Language Data

And its done.
