Why does my battery die quickly?

The battery life is not good at all. The manufacturer claims 110 minutes of recording per charge, but I only get about 35-40 of actual recording. How can I extend the battery life?

It is possible that your battery is not actually charging fully; there could be an issue with the charging port in the camera, the charging cable could be broken, or the battery itself could be faulty.
