Volume up, but no sound.
Why is my volume on my laptop all the way up, but there is no sound coming out of my speakers?

First check that the application you are using has its volume all the way up. In the bottom right corner of your desktop there is a little carrot. Click this and then right click the miniature speaker icon and check that the application is not muted. If this doesn’t work you may have to update your audio drivers.
