Why cant I see anything now?

So my phone has been cracked for a while and Tuesday morning I dropped it and it had the lines in it the vertical inverted colorful ones, I was planning on taking it to the shop friday for them to check it out and I ordered the package off this website. So I came home yesterday , looked at my phone and the screen was slowly getting black then it all got pitch black, cant see anything! Whats wrong with it? Is it fixable? I used to hear sounds on my phone with the vertical lines from my alarm and when I got calls. Now I'm not sure if its off or on! Im scared if I take it to the shop tomorrow they'll say I have to get a brand new phone, what could be wrong? I charged it all night so its not the battery! IM HOPELESS.
