Panorama - No Motion Detected

My Samsung NX300 is having a problem taking Panoramas - when I put the camera in Panorama mode as soon as I press the shutter button it displays a message saying 'no motion detected' and it does not allow me to take a Panorama. I suspect a bad accelerometer or a bad wiring connection to the accelerometer. Where is the Accelerometer located in the camera? is it part of the mother board, top pcb, LCD assembly, or some other location? Are there any flexible printed wiring harnesses in between the accelerometer and the main processor? This camera had the motherboard previously replaced by a Samsung authorized repair center but now I'm out of my warranty period and need to perform this repair myself.
