Nothing happens when I press the power button
Nothing happens when I press the power button on my HP 2000 I know it's not the battery. Any ideas?

hello,
are you sure it's not the battery? did you triy to load it with an other charger?
maybe the battery is low, and the charger is dead..
It is possible that the DC jack is dead, so if you try tocharge it , it will not ...
another possibility : the PCB from the on/off button is dead or the plastic button is broken.
Do you see lights when you try to boot up?
Do you hear sounds? ( HDD, Fan...)

Try to press or touch the quickplay or the dvd buttons near it. It will start
