Basic Glass screen replacement
Can I just replace the glasa on this, without disassembly of the phone I.e heat gun to melt glue just hot swap?

I haven't replaced a screen for this model. But looking at the fixit teardown guide it looks like you can by the way the LCD assembly is attached to the frame. It's the same way Samsung and other cell phones attach there screens.

I might try this , would you recommend opening and removing the battery first. also was wondering why all the kits are coming with a USB lead, thanks for your reply
Yes, remove the battery before you start any repairs on your phone. Also send me the part # of your new screen that comes with the USB cable so I can look into why you received it with your kit.

I don't think the USB does nothing with the repair. They just include a new USB cable.
my huawei P9 screen cracked,so i boughta new one at alibaba. then after I changed it with new I noticed that after I took a picture with the new screen I got a poor quality of pictures. it just like it was took by a normal android phone. I wonder waht happened? I think the leica dual camera did not work. because the resolution of the pic is very poor.is there anyone who could help me with this?? super thank you

Hey Stig. Did you manage to do this in the end? What was the kit like? Was the glass decent quality.
If I give it a go I will record some sort of video.
