My phone was frozen, couldn't turn it on.

Phone wouldnt respond at all. couldnt turn it on. did advised reboot and got WARNING screen saying A custom OS can cause critical problems in phone and installed applications. If you want to download a custom OS, press the volume up key..otherwise press the volume down key. Neither work and now I have this screen frozen on phone....HELP PLEASE

Options

Ok, Hold power + volume down and home button for 8-10 seconds then release. Hold the power button until you see the samsung logo and hope fully it will turn on successfully. Otherwise keep plugged in charging while in download mode.

Thank you so much, my phone was dead, and I plugged it in, and that message immediately popped up. volume up or down didn't work, and I unplugged it hoping it would die again for 20 minutes but it didn't somehow.

Saved me from a heart attack.
