Dropped my passport, light continously on, makes normal sounds, broken

I dropped my passport when it wan't running, the light is now continuously on when plugged in, it makes normal sounds except for a kind of chirp that happens infrequently (sometime every 3 or 4 minutes, sometimes not at all), but it does not show up when plugged in. Because the disk sounds fine for the most part and it wasn't running when dropped, I am hoping this might be recoverable, is it? Thanks for the help.

Options

You might have broken the HDD of course you might not. The only way to really tell would be to open it up and remove the HDD and try it like a regular HDD connect it to a computer like internally or by a different enclosure.
