Hi,
im trying to figure out what the issue is.
i have my money on mb issue.
so i bought note 4, replaced the broken screen. installed latest update, did factory reset clear cache, everything, but when i launch camera app, it says camera failed.
i have tried using camera from working note 4 and still the same thing.
any ideas?

The issue is related to camera firmware 73cx. Yours is null. Youtube videos show how to fix this issue.

I had the same issue, while browsing ifixit forum I find the solution to the problem, new software has restore my phone to the proper shape.

bit more update on the issue.
when i go to *#0#* and do the tests, the front camera works, so its just back camera
