@herve13 , Try the center console tailgate unlock window button first and child lock out switch off if equipped. Window and tailgate will not work if rear wiper is not in the proper resting place on rear hatch, if not sitting in proper position in off (on its perch)position, turn on rear wiper and cycle it. Check and test all rear window fuses,relays, "power window relay" this part is behind the plastic panel in the back on the drivers side. Two bolts hold it in, simply buy a new one if found to be faulty. Very good links below to help explain how you test and diagnose rear window/hatch problems in your 4 runner.
