The pad is not glued in!

Use a small flat head screw driver and gently prise the four lugs below the cushion on at a time.

The lugs are situated at 12,3 6 and 9 oclock.

Dead easy!

Update (05/05/2017)

Use a very small flat head screwdriver and insert between the cushion and the plastic of the earpiece. Once inserted gently raise or twist the head of the screwdriver until that lug pops up repeat three more times. I have found them to be completely washable once removed under a running tap using a mild detergent and a soft brush. Do not under any circumstances use any kind of baby wipes as this will cause the glue around the cushion to breakdown and come unstuck. Once cleaned and dry just pop them back on by lining up the lugs and push on to hear it click back into place. Simples! I have done it 6 or 7 times and my headphones still look as good as when they new.

Dont forget Plantronics gear comes with a 2 year warranty-just got a complete new heaphones replacement YIPPEE!

Thanks for that tip it worked great.

I used a thing knife blade inserted between the 12,3,6 and 9 o'clock positions and then slide it towards the 12,3,6 and 9 o'clock positions and when it met the lug gently twist the knife blade and the earpad will come off the lug.

Repeat for the other 3 lugs and you're done.

Very easy indeed! :-)

I have also found that the glue around the cushion for the ear pads come away after a while. I have taken to stitching them back together and this works extremely well.

I have seen a couple other forums regarding this. It is my understanding that you must remove them from the plastic base (they are glued onto it sadly) with heat or just by ripping them off. Then you can retrofit another set of pads from a 3rd party onto the existing base.

The earpad are glued onto a base that is snapped in place over 4 lugs that clips in place, you can release the lugs by using a thin blade to gently twist them off.
