I recently acquired an iPhone 6 but the screen is shattered and unresponsive. In order to replace this, I need a new screen but I'm not exactly sure what part I should buy from the iFixIt store. The home button, speaker and front camera all still work and I am able to transfer them to this new screen myself. What part should I buy?

You can save a few bucks if you opt for the digitizer screen alone rather than the complete assembly. That means you will transfer a few small components, so a little more work and slightly increased risk of damage from disassembly/reassembly, but also means those components will be genuine Apple. There have been some reports of issues with mic volume, etc. on the complete assembly replacements. My replacement went pretty smoothly.

@bhollenback replacing the front panel assembly will resolve your issues. Here is the part for it.
