Quickest way to find the problem would be to raise the front end so both tires are off the ground then start by checking for play in the bearing . See if you can move the tire by grabbing the top and bottom of the tire and push in at top and out at the bottom and then back and forth . If there's movement here then your bearing is bad , no joy then continue by turning the tire and listening for clicking sound . Follow the noise you hear to its source . Is there play in the U joints or differential. Check the fluid level in the diff. follow back to the transfer case checking the ujoints in the front driveshaft . Then check your transfer case for fluids . You may also want to check the drag links . this year ford truck had a issue with the link that made the front tires lean in . If you have the lean it puts stress on the front hubs . throws of the angle of the front driveshaft. Thats just some things to check . Hope this helps

If you have press in bearings, then they are starting to walk out. Take the hub off and check the tightness of the locknuts
