Would it technically be possible to add headphone jack to iPhone 7?

1. I know there is some Lightning to headphone adapters that split the connector into a Lightning port and a headphone jack. Is there enough empty space in the phone (or enough empty space from removing something not necessary) to add a headphone jack and the chip from one of those adapters?

2. Would it be possible to then de-solder the Lightning port and solder the adapter to it, then re-add the port connected to the adapter?

3. If possible, how hard would it be?

If it isn't possible with the normal iPhone 7, what about the 7 Plus?

There is zero "extra space" in the iPhone 7.

Ehhh I mean technically way on the outside, it's possible. But you couldn't really desolder the headphone jack, exactly, technically it's a press solder onto a ribbon cable. So you'd have to somehow build a custom ribbon cable to fit an extra jack. So it's not really possible, and no there really isn't any extra room, and no it wouldn't be possible with a 7+. I appreciate the thinking outside the box, however it would just be really difficult

Everything is possible, but You have to project your own iOS, lightning flex, and PROBABLY new paths on maiboard :)

You can do it, it only depends of that, how rich you are, and how smart people you will ask for this.
