An 18V battery powered angle grinder first introduced by RYOBI in 2014. It was released as part of RYOBI's ONE+ system of tools that all operate on the same battery pack.
If you run the motor and turn the tool upside down, or possibly with the tool head pointing down, does it make a grinding noise?
If I had a tool that had a working motor, but wasn't spinning, I would first look at the motor shaft connection to the transmission gears, and transmission gears themselves.
