LCD screen: iMac 20" 20 and Isight
Did a research on google and cannot find an answer.
Is it possible to put an apple Imac screen from an Imac G5 20" into an G5 20"Isight version?

The numbers in parenthesis that follow the model number must match exactly. If you need LM201W01(ST)(B2), you must replace it with LM201W01(ST)(B2).

+ Agreed - It's the revision numbers ((A1), (B1)) that matters. Sometimes with the wrong revision screen those iMacs won't even boot up.

Actually it was a question for Imac LCD...Someone has already done it but its in french.

If the part
numbers on the back of the display are the same yes, if not no.

So it the Isight is LM201W01(ST)(B2)and the imac g5 is LM201W0(SL)(A3), would it fit?

NO that's not an exact match. I don't think you're ready for DIY repairs.

It does not always have to be an exact match. For example, I have replaced a (SL)(A1) with both a (SL)(A2) and (B5). Both worked. Some other suffixes will not work though. You have to check the data sheets to see what the voltage level is and what type of video signal is sent from the video card to the LCD are.
