Dropped phone in water, works fine but battery makes sizzle noise

I accidentally dropped my phone in water (toilet), immediately took it out, washed/rinsed it quickly, and took out the battery and SIM card and dried it. After a while, I tried the phone, and everything works fine except the SIM card being undetected and a constant sizzling sound whenever the battery is in. I tried putting in another battery to see if the battery was the problem, but the sizzling sound was still there. I don't think there is any liquid corrosion damage, as the phone was in contact with water for less than around 30 seconds and the back inside of the phone was barely wet, but I think there might be something wrong with the place where the battery connects in the phone (the four yellow pointed things). For now im going to let it dry and try the battery again. What should I do?

Christian Liam sounds like you are cooking something. Either a component, water residue under or near a component or the battery. I suggest that first you do not turn on your phone, charge it or try to connect it in any way. Remove the battery from the phone to minimize further damage. After that completely disassemble your phone by using these guides. Using 90%+ isopropyl alcohol, clean your phone by following this guide. It was written for an iPhone but all the points are still pertinent to your phone as well. While cleaning, check for obvious missing or damaged components. you can always post some images of your boards etc. with your question so we can see what you see. Use this guide Ajout d'images à une question existante for that.

Once it is properly cleaned, replace the battery and reassemble your phone. then you can properly troubleshoot.
