Can I repair my broken front base (where Thinkpad has written)?
I have broken my front base (where ThinkPad) has engraved. Can it be replaced and how much will it cost?

verma83.m download the service manual from places like this. It will show you what is involved in the repair. Lenovo no longer provides the parts list in their hardware maintenance manual but you can download that one from here. It shows the part numbers for your computer.
Partnumber 04X4613 for the Palmrest ASM w/FPR hole (cost anywhere from $70 and up)
Partnumber04X4614 for the N PlmrestASMwFPMiniSSDspatt (cost anywhere from $40-$100USD)

That part is called the upper case, also the palmrest. For current part availability, Google Lenovo Thinkpad x230 & Uppercase.
