1 Switching on but not booting
After I was done using my HP Compaq 6910p yesterday I decided to hibernate it, now I'm trying to on it but its not booting.
please what's going on?

Flea power is the common cause to this prooblem, basically what happens is when residual power that remains after the computer is switched off interferes with the system preventing with the boot process.
What you do
- Turn remove the battery
- disconnect adapter
- Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds
- Connect the power adapter without the battery
- Your computer should turn on now

Flea power could be the cause of this issue you have. Sound like your laptop is fine but the screen is not turning on. Follow these steps below:
Turn the laptop upside down, loose the screws using screw driver then locate and disconnect the wire that connects battery and motherboard. Please be very delicate about it. Remove the battery then press power button for 30 seconds.
It will consume all the flea power left in circuits.

What happens when you press the power button? Does the screen light up? If so, what is on it? What version of Windows are you running: 7, 8., 10?

the screen didn't light up (just like its not on) when I pressed the power button.
Its a windows 7
