Plugged in but not charging

Laptop plugged in but not charging. Wire in the back seems loose. After moving around the plug the screen got brighter but still says plugged in but not charging. I bought a new battery and charger still having the same problem

Options

the dc jack could be a issue, check if you can replace that.
