It does take max 12 seconds video
Somehow GoPro Hero 3 Silver takes max 12 seconds of video. Is it a software problem, can I repair by myself or do I have to bring to the repair center?

You'll want a minimum of a class 10 card and larger than 8GB. UHS-I would be preferred.
If you are using the camera in hot conditions, it may be overheating which could cause the system to stop recording after 12 seconds.
Last of all, format your card to FAT32 for anything below 32GB and exFAT for 64GB and up. You can use this guide to do that: Comment formater un lecteur sous Windows 7-10

Hi Serkan, that is a common problem when the SD card being used is not a supported type. What SD card are you using?
