Why are my speakers not playing right

@hollister190 "unless i push in on the cone" use your multimeter and measure ohms across the terminals and see what the result are when you have not push on the cone versus when you push the cone. If it's an open circuit at rest and normal when pushed down, then it is most likely a bad connection perhaps it is a bad connection from a tinsel lead that makes connection when you push on it. It could also be a shorted voice coil that makes contact when you push the cone. In any of these situations you most likely will have to to replace your speaker.
