@melrosenegz did it work before it fell over? what have you checked? Disconnect all inputs and the power cord. Then push and hold the power button for 15-30sec. Reconnect the TV and only select one input source at a time. Try HDMI component and composite as well as coax. Let us know what you get. What model is your TV?

@melrosenegz a foot drop could easily have cracked the LCD. Okay let's see if we can find out what's going on.. let us know what exact model the TV is. Then you need to remove the back of the TV. Don't plug it in, just remove the back. Once removed take a good look at all the boards. See if there is an obvious damage. things like broken connector, loose wires, anything odd. Post some pictures of all those boards with your question. Use this guide Ajout d'images à une question existante for that. It will allow us to see what you see. My first impression is a broken LCD panel, but those usually still light up but only show broken lines etc. This could simply be a power board failure. Even so you are not a TV person I am sure you can still get this going (unless it's a broken LCD).

It sounds like the LCD is broken. If you can get into it, you might check all connections to see if any cables became loosened in that fall. But I'm sorry to say, it sounds like your LCD was damaged in that fall. It's kind of a good sign that the volume still works tho as that means that you still have power to the TV.

How much would that cost about !?

For the LCD ?

I wouldn't have any clue. DIY on big screen from what I've seen seems rather complicated too. To test if the LCD is actually dead, you might also try other hdmi ports and or just the audio/video (red yellow white plugs).
