How do i override the lock screen for a forgotten password?

Manually go into recovery mode by holding Vol Up + Side/Power Button + Home Button. Once the logo appears let go of the home button and you should see the Android Mascot. You know you did it right because you should see blue text saying "entering recovery mode".

i have this problem too, but i did a factory reset and an email was attached to a samsung account and now phone is locked. i need to override this. any suggestions?
