Missing resistor for home button iPhone 5

Hi,

I had to check the motherboard of my Iphone 5 after home button problemes

The BGA U3 resistor is there but i noticed one resistor close a connector(i don't know how it called ) is missing.

As you can see on the pic , one in the middle of the 3 resistors vanished.

Where can i get a free schematics for an iPhone 5, so i can get the correct resistor value ?

Which are the other possible ways to get the probleme fixed ?

Home button actually works with some pencil's graphite but Iphone can't be shaked and has obviously to be steady.

Can a soldering dot fix it temporary ? Where to buy this component ?

Sorry for my poor english and thanks in advance for help.

The missing component is a ferrite bead (FL5). It's specs are 120Ohms / 210mA / 01005. You can find them at Digikey.com under the following part number (445-8668-1-ND). It's the same component as the backlight filter.

Thank you , amazed with this fast professional reply. Unfortunately i have to find another solution because cost shipping are too high for France. Thanks again for this reference , it was so difficult to find .

If a micro jumper is okay , is it possible to solder any resistor since the size is same as the missing one and no matter the value ? Thanks advance for answer

Thanks in advance .

No, you shouldn't put a resistor in place of a ferrite bead. They have different functions. A micro-jumper is okay for testing purposes.

yes this is possible to repair, you can either get a resistor from a donor board, and solder it on using a hot air work station or fine soldering tweezers, alternatively as it is a resistor you can just use a small jumper wire method. We repair these all the time, it is easy if you are experienced in micro soldering. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much.

Can i ask what is a "small jumper wire method" ?

I am not a big experienced in soldering but in think i can make a "dot", a "jumper wire" sounds different .

I was thinking that if a dot of graphite can make miracle, a solder dot can too. Thanks

i dont think a solder dot will be a good idea, you want to make a micro jumper between the two points, if you are unable to perform such a task, i dont mind doing it for you, i specialise in micro soldering
