How can I make my screen turn on

So I have an LG Stylo 3. I shattered the screen a while ago, but other than cosmetically, it is perfectly fine. (Was until about 20 minutes ago) I was sitting on my bed and got a snap chat and when I went to check it, the screen wouldn't turn on. the back light is working, my screen is lighting up, just turning a few shades lighter than when its off. the FInger print scanner is working fine as well. I know my phone is still working because I can hear the notifications coming through, but i can't see anything. I've restarted my phone and was going to do a hard reset because its all I havent tried yet, but I cant see my power off option or anything for that matter to actually do it. I'd rather not lose the memos I dont have backed up as they are important for work, but I'd more rather be able to actually use my phone and not have to buy a new one as I havent had this one for very long. So I'm open to pretty much any suggestions

It sounds like either your LCD ribbon cable is ripped or the port was damaged

can i fix either of those?

yes but you would have to get a screen replacement and have to remove the screen that is currently on it
