My phone won't turn on

I have a samsung galaxy A5. A couple of hours ago it just randomly switched off and when I tried to turn it on again it got stuck on the screen where it says "samsung" Been that way a couple of hours now. The battery's not dead and I've already tried holding down volume up + power button and volume up + power button + homescreen button. Nothing seems to be working, can anyone help me?

Options

Take the battery out and put it back in. Your screen might have froze.

its not just that easy on an a5 the lcd has to be taken off to get at the battery
