My car is burning a lot of gas

my 2001 pontiac grand am gt is taking a whole tank of gas in 130mile trip there are no gas leaks.

@fredrick3666 how does it run/idle? What does your exhaust smoke look like? Service Engine light on? What have you checked? What engine size is this?

@fredrick3666 next time you buy gas, put in a bottle of Fuel injection cleaner/treatment to see if your mileage improves. The car is over 17 years old, so if you haven't changed the fuel filter or cleaned the fuel injector, yes you may have a clogged fuel system.
