How to cool a Nuclear Reactor down?

Seem to be a few problems with the cooling system here- and I'm talking about a little more than Arctic Silver! Any ideas? Helicopters, fire hoses, barium from Korea I believe, but there still seems to be imminent danger of (a) meltdown(s).

Also, measures need to be done to prevent radiation from escaping into the atmosphere, as well as to prevent spent rods from exploding.

So- any ideas?

Wouldn't that just make it hotter?

Since 1954 the Japanese have produced 28 Godzilla movies. All dealing with radiation problems. If they don't have an answer yet, it's not for lack of thought on the issue.

Saw a design for a self circulating cooling system in case the pumps fail (which is what happened) based on the fact hot water rises and cool water falls. of course this wouldn't work if the pipes broke. but thats more to prevent this from happening again.
