If I want to adjust the Trackpad Click, why take the MBP all apart
Looking at "FixIt" to view and adjust the Track Pad clicker, the unit needs to be taken all apart. Is there a better way?

Poor guide management, they tried to do all the guides at once. Just remove the battery, ignore the rest of the teardown: Skip all till you get to step#41. Remember the iFixit team do teardown, they do not do the repairs a typical bench technician does. Remplacement de la batterie du MacBook Pro 15"Retina mi-2015

Yes, but, the battery removal is difficult as well. Lots of glue removal, etc. Do all six batteries need removal? Can the sticky glue be reused if all the batteries are not removed? I have some clicking capabilities at the bottom center of the track pad.
Nobody ever said Mac repairs were easy. I use Methanol to get the batteries out. usually the battery is still sticky enough to replace with no problem. In your case, the battery may be the problem, it may be swelling and pressing against the bottom of the trackpad.
Would that be the case if the AC was connected most all the time?
Batteries going bad are more common when the mag-safe is hooked up all the time. Feel it.
Thanks. It is as I suspected.
