Battery drains quickly and overheats while idle
In recent days my phone has had a large battery drain and overheats without usage

@green312 start off with a new battery. A failed battery can develop those symptoms. It will also provide you with a known-good point to start further trouble shooting. LG G5 Battery Replacement
