When i turn on my tv,after a few minutes the screen turns black and sound is still there,it automatically changes back to normal however the same thing keeps repeating every few minutes.My tv model is KLV-40X250A

while the screen turns dark, shine a flashlight at an angle against the screen. See if you can make out silhouettes etc. If so, it is your backlight that is failing. If not then you most likely have trouble with the main board. Also, try to see if your menu comes up when the screen goes black. Let us know what you find.
@ord77 that would mean we need to see the boards. Can you take some pictures and post those with the question? Use this guide Ajout d'images à une question existante for that? You need a multimeter to measure a few things to see if you are losing the power to the backlight or from the main board.

The menu does not come up while the screen is dark,and i used a flashlight and can confirm there are no images on screen
