The Garmin Dezl 760LMT is a GPS manufactured in 2012 by Garmin. It has a 7” screen, and is able to store and utilize maps from an SD card or an assortment of pre-loaded maps of the United States and Canada.

Dezl 760 is not recognized when connected via USB to my computer.

Labtop (Win7/64) with Garmin Express works fine with other Garmin devices. I'm looking for a solution without loosing all my Favorites, POIs, routes etc. as it might happen if I do a hard reset.

I had the same issue …. very difficult to see due to very tight space … but the mini USB female plug was bent (down)ie towards the rear of the Garmin 760 about 1 mm. I fixed it by (carefully) bending back with the sharp end/tip of a narrow knife. WORKS
