So i've recently bought Naruto Ninja Storm 4 from Gamestop and when I put it into my PS4, it does not read. All my other games read but this is only one that won't. The game is also used to i do not know if it is a console problem or a disc problem. Please help of you do know.

I have the same problem with all disk and have tried everything that I have read to do and still dose it can someone help me figure it out

As others have stated, this is likely the disc itself.
Here is the explanation:
The "tracks" on the disc are circular similar to a record (if you recall those...). If you look at the non-label side, you will likely see some scratches. This is usually OK since there is error correction built into the digital information on the disc. If the scratches are circular, in other words, go around the entire disc, there will be too many errors for the correction algorithms to correct. The disc won't read. Also, when a disc is first started, the laser will fire in an attempt to detect a disc. Once detected, an attempt will be made to read the TOC (table of contents) of the disc. This is read from the "home" position which means that the laser assembly does not need to move yet. Once this has been read, the laser will be moved along the rails as more information is required to be read.
In your specific case, I would suspect circular scratches which are preventing the disc from correctly reading the data.

P.S. If you want to clean a disc, use a damp cloth and wipe from the center hole to the outside. Do NOT go around the disc, EVER!!

I have a ps4 and it will start spinning and stops and starts it kepps doing it till it says unregonize disk what do I do ? Please help
Since the disk is spinning, the laser is working enough to know that a disk is there. Try cleaning the lens using a cotton swab and alcohol. That may be enough to resolve the problem.

its a common issue when you are purchasing used games. The surface of the disc is scratched an the laser is unable to read the disc. Some game stores have a disc scratch remover and polishes the disc so it is usable. Most stores charge a small amount for this service.

If all of your other discs work, then the issue is certainly with the disc. You should be able to return it to GameStop for an exchange.

I had this same problem tonight. Tried the system update in safe mode, system rebuild in safe mode, the tapping suggestion and nothing worked. I eventually found this video on youtube
It was not a roller issue, but what I noticed was that there was an incredible amount of dust inside the console. It was everywhere. I gave it a good clean, put it all back together and tested it. Believe it or not, it is working now. Easy to do and if you don't have a set of security screwdrivers (which I don't) a very small flat headed screwdriver will release these. Took 15 mins to do. Hope this helps as I was getting really infuriated with watching all these other YouTube videos for 10 mins only to be told to swith the console off and back on again. Wtf.

Hi. I have problem with my ps4. It reads only one disc (destiny it came with ps4 when i bougth it) other game discs it dosent read. What would be problem? I have rebooted it and did everything but it didnt help. Help please

I have the same issue with 1 game. Plays all the other but not this one. I when back and return the 1st one I bought. Got another from a difference shop( same game) and again is saying disc not recognised, but play other games. Any ideas why is happening?
