I don’t know how damaged your port is, but I assume you want to replace it? I’ve never done this myself, but I don’t think it’ll be easy; you probably need some skills with soldering. This is how I assume the process would go:

First, you’ll need to find a donor device that has a working, mini USB port (a cheap, broken TI 84 Plus CE should do). Then you’ll need to desolder the port from the donor device.

Next, you’ll need to take apart the calculator to reach the motherboard. Then need to carefully peel away the foil covering the mini USB port. It may be a good idea to remove the battery.

Next you’ll need to desolder the damaged mini USB port and solder on the new one. Replace the foil and the battery, then close up the calculator.

If you calculator still turns on, that’s a good sign. If the calculator charges normally, (check by plugging in the USB cable into the port and seeing if the battery indicator turns orange.) then great! If your computer recognizes that your calculator has connected to it, then data transfer is still working!

If you messed something up and your calculator no longer functions, you may want to use your warranty if it still applies.

Hopefully that helped…
