White smoke from my Cub Cadet LTX1040

I changed my oil, and I drained all of the oil out. I followed the instructions for the amount of oil, and it appears that I had too much oil.

i drained the oil, changed spark plug, fuel filter, and the carburetor. The riding lawnmower still has white smoke. Should I run it for awhile to see if the smoke will clear? Is something wrong with the engine sense I had too much oil? Please advise any suggestions.
