Deuxième génération de l'iPhone. Modèle A1241 / capacité de 8 ou 16 Go / coque arrière noire ou blanche. La réparation est plus simple que pour l'iPhone de première génération et nécessite des tournevis, des outils pour faire levier et une ventouse.

Hi my iphone 3g-8gb black had a problem.

Before i can enjoy our house' wifi signal but now, i cannot connect anymore. I never dropped or any incident before it happened. But i can remember turning the wifi router once (saving electricity purposes. And then after turning it on again, i can't receive any wifi signal anymore. I tried to reset the wifi router thrice. And all of my family's laptop can receive the wifi signal after resetting the wifi router thrice, but my iphone 3g is not receiving it anymore. It see's the router but it keeps on alerting "UNABLE TO JOIN NETWORK"

I also tried to go

1. into Settings -> General -> Reset - then tap on Reset Network Settings

2. jailbreak my iphone

3. and before resetting my wifi router, i tried clicking the "forget this network"

***all of this didn't help at all, can somebody help me?

for details of my iphone 3g here it is,

iphone details: iphone 8gb- black

Software version: 4.2.1 (8C148)

Model: MB489PP

have you recently updated to 4.2.1? I ask because my phone lost wifi the day i updated... no injury to phone etc. I can only assume it is the software.. are you able to change your software to 3.1 and see if that makes a difference. I can only think that the 4.2.1 has updates for iphone4 that are not compatible with our iphone 3...

just to add to my comment above..it would seem this is a pretty well known issue (probably the reason i held off updating for so long as it was on 4.1 too...) https://discussions.apple.com/thread/272... you've jailbroken the phone? I'd try rolling back your ios to 3.1 to see if that helps.

I'm not the guru of jailbreaks.... I think the sites are almost deliberately confusing so mere mortals have go on special hacking sites for help!! You should be able to get the custom firmware from felixbrun.de (google it) then you may have to redo your jailbreak and select that firmware(3.1) instead of 4.2.1...you had to update to that first right? Did you keep your baseband or update to ipad 6.15.00?(big cause of wifi and gps loss)if you have then I think a user called brad is more expert at recommending which jb to use.

i have my iphone with the same situation how I downgraded to 3.1 so ifixit??

see the comment above. all you have to do is get the 3.1.x (save to a location ie desktop where you'll be able to find it easily) and then select it when you are in itunes for your restore..so on windows it's a right click on your iphone icon in the lefthand menu, on a mac it's ctrl? or alt? (I'm old and silly so try either one) on the iphone icon. then all should be fine.
