Proximity sensor loose, how to attach?

I have had problems with replacement screens installed by local shops not staying glued, probably because they used glue instead of adhesive strips (although the battery may have begun to bulge too). Along the line my proximity sensor started malfunctioning, turning the screen off as soon as a number was dialled. My screen is loose again and I will be replacing the battery soon with your kit. I noticed that the proximity sensor was loose and no longer attached to the screen. Also found that it works if I position it properly and put a little pressure on the screen right next to it when I make a call. Also, the front camera flash is combined with the proximity sensor and it also only works when pressing the screen. So, what do you recommend I do to ensure the sensor will work when I replace the battery and reattach the screen? Will the proper adhesive tape holding the screen more tightly do the job or do I need to somehow affix the sensor to the screen?
